Surrounded

When visiting Disney, in Florida I found myself very attracted to the tigers. This image is a result of my curiosity and passion for these animals.

My sister,Heather and I are extremely close. She was the perfect model while on a hike through Port Ewen . Her eyes perfectly match the dark deep water of the Hudson.

Outcast

I chose this picture as my final picture because I liked the overall composition of it. I decided to make it black and white and leave the door colored. I did this because I liked the way the door would then capture all of your attention first, and then the graffiti surrounding it. Overall, I like this picture the most out of all that I've taken so far.

Bright Curiosity

This is my darling CoCo Puff, my cat who usually takes completely terrible photos. As soon as I got the school camera, I thought I would test out it's abilities and picture quality, since my previous camera was on it's way out-- and what better test subject than my cat. I got her sitting in one place and kept snapping my fingers around to keep her looking alert, and out of a lot of crappy test photos, I got this. I colorized it, using a higher saturation to make the color in her eye deeper. This will probably be the only good photo I ever get of her.

Abandoned

This picture was taken in East Kingston at an abandoned cement factory. At first, I took this picture for framing but the brightness of the graffiti really caught my eye. I then decided to use this photo for the color assignment rather than framing. To make the graffiti  jump out even more, I made everything else black and white, including two of the pieces of the art work. I think this enhances the composition making the image look more interesting and really grabs your attention.

A Clip From The Past

I was at the Saugerties Flee Market over the summer when I saw this photo of the father and his child, I thought it was a great picture, so bought it. When I look at this photo I feel like this picture is like a timeline, that it is only one frozen moment of history and that the string only has more clips to come.

Day Dreaming

This picture is of my goddaughter Leah. She always is just in her own little world. I took this picture because I always catch her day dreaming and this reminded me of a little girl, who has big dreams.
