I took this photo for my architecture project. It was taken at Mohonk at the top near the tower. I could have used the tower for the architecture but I felt that it was too generic to photograph a building, so I used a bench that my girlfriend was resting on. The sun was just beginning to set, so the lighting was perfect. There was no flash so I had to hold the camera very still. The shutter was open for almost 1 second. The shadows and golden color are my favorite part about this photo.
